The Team is Growing!

After Yvette decided to take a sabbatical to raise her son we have only had the pleasure of her helping out now and again over the past 13 years.  Now, Yvette is back, resuming her creative duties as a senior designer, fabrication specialist and graphic designer.  Yvette's background in design and fabrication makes her a strong asset to our growing team.  Welcome back Yvette!

Also, long time behind the scenes support, Bill Message (yes, Bianca's husband!) steps into the official role as Director of Administration.  Bill's expertise in administration and management is a welcome addition!  It's finally official Bill, Welcome to the team!

Embracing Spring...

The time has flown by since Christmas.  Blossoms are out and flowers are cheerful reminders that winter on our west coast is just about done.

Meanwhile the Team has been very busy with Yvette and Michael off to Calgary working on the TransAlta exhibit; Bianca back down to California with the team from Jones and Jones working on the Chukchansi  Cultural Center; Andy and Amy have been finishing up the final detailed design package for the Valdez City Museum; and Tom has been working hard on the New Wanapum Heritage Center multimedia experience.

The team also is working on the Birds of North Dakota Exhibit—designing an exhibit that can be moved into its permanent home in 2 years time, while still offering an inspirational visitor experience in its existing space.  The team from the North Dakota Historical Society has been simply outstanding to work with.  Thank you Chris and Genia and team!

And, amidst all this excitement Yvette and Michael have been creating the Morris Thompson Cultural and Visitor's Center graphic panels!

Our intern, Vanessa Kent, has been working on the Craigdarroch Castle directional signage under Bianca's guidance. We are excited to announce that Vanessa has just received the news that she will be accepted into the UBC School of Architecture this August!  Congratulations Vanessa!
