Aboriginal Youth Conference

In March, Bianca and Amy traveled to Prince George, British Columbia, to present a workshop at the Gathering Our Voices 2007 Provincial Aboriginal Youth Conference.

The workshop,"Teaching Each Other to See", was a hands-on learning experience where attendees got to interpret and design their own cultural centre. The workshop also touched on how important youth are in the bigger cultural preservation picture and how they can be involved in creating their community cultural centres and museums.
