Valdez Museum

From April 14th-17th Bianca and Amy travelled to Valdez, Alaska for interpretive planning and design meetings for the a new exhibit on the Exxon Valdez oil spill at the Valdez Museum and Historical Archive.

They met with curator Andrew Goldstein and Executive Director Kathryn Hurtley to develop the interpretive planning and design approach. They also met with several community members to get a better perspective on the oil spill and how it has changed the town of Valdez, Prince William Sound and the world.

They reviewed the oil spill prevention and response strategies.

As well as oil samples remaning in the sound.
