André Family Heritage Celebrated

2012 was certainly the "year of books and publications" for the André family.  Recently Bianca was thrilled to receive an email with the newly created website celebrating her grandfather's works and book released for sale.  As mentioned in earlier blog entries he was an artist from Provence that had a unique way of painting with light.  Ernest André's painter's name was Delbosco meaning "of the woods".
Bianca's uncle, Roland André, is Delbosco fils, "son of Delbosco".  He also continues the tradition of painting with light and sells his works at his studio gallery, La Forge, in Saint Etienne Les Orgues, Provence.
While visiting the family home in Saint Etienne Bianca's uncle and father painted in the lavender fields with sister Yvette.  Roland gave Yvette the painter's name Delbosco Y.  Yvette continues the tradition of painting with light and successfully showed and sold many of her works at the 8th Annual Winter Celebration Art Show this past December.
